Girari Sustainable Event Furnishings Hosts a Nine Team Glass Table Decorating Contest

WHEN: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2007; 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

WHAT: Girari, the leading provider of and the first to debut an eco-sensitive rental line of glass/acrylic tables and seating, offers its product as an event tabletop “blank canvas”.
Event Producers, Tabletop Decorators, and Floral Designers will combine to form NINE competing project teams for a “Tabletop Shootout”. The theatrical “canvas” will be made up of different and challenging glass banquet table configurations at dining and bar heights.
Winners will be announced at 8:00 p.m.
WHERE: Girari Showroom, 205 N. Robertson, Beverly Hills, California.
WHY: To bring attention to the event production industry’s effort to go green without losing a highly dramatic aesthetic. Prizes to be awarded to the winning teams include $5,000, $2,000, and $1,000 in event rental credits (respectively for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place) Girari’s sustainable line. A "People’s Choice Award" chosen by event attendees and the contest participants' peers will also be awarded.

Decorating Teams - Submit Your Applications!
Deadline: Tuesday September 4
Any group can make up a team: an event production company, event designers, floral designers, enthusiasts, etc. Each team will be randomly assigned a specific size and shape glass banquet table from the following (may be either bar height table or dining height table): Triangular(seating for 6), Rounded Square(seating for 8) or Pentagonal(seating for 10).
We provide the naked glass table and clear acrylic chairs(or stools). Your table is colorless. You create the look. Below you will find examples of each of the tables.

Girari is in full production in Las Vegas. Our furniture warehouse is filling month by month with new event furniture, our showroom is in place and we have already done a number of events, including parties at the Hard Rock Hotel, a slot tournament at the Wynn Hotel and a hot party at the Venetian Hotel.
